We, along with parents can rest assured that the playgrounds and any other surfaces we sanitize are a safe environment for children. We hope you will help spread the word that we can be a community resource to disinfect highly populated areas, community, business or personal.
There are many different industries that we can assist with this service, including: parks, hospitals, stores (washing shopping carts), gas stations, and hotels. We also have plans to expand this service and be able to sanitize vehicle interiors, homes, etc. through other means of application.
For our sanitizing service, we use a 10% Quaternary Sanitizer that is designed for use in schools, hospitals, food processing plants, food service establishments, restaurants, and bars where sanitation is of prime importance. It is an effective sanitizer at an active quaternary concentration of 200 ppm in public eating establishments against Escherichia coli, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Staphylococcus aureus, yesenia enterocolitica, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella typhi, Shigella sonnei, Vibrio cholera, and many other types. It is also USDA Food Grade Approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and is an approved EPA Disinfectant use against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.
We wish you all nothing but success during this trying time and we want to assure you that we are here for all of your pressure washing and sanitizing needs.

Sealing your concrete is one of the absolute best ways to protect and preserve it. When concrete is left unprotected, it can cause irreversible and unsightly damage. While it is an easy decision to have your concrete sealed, you likely still have questions about everything it entails.
We want to make sure you have what you need to make informed decisions going forward. Whether you are looking to apply a concrete sealer, need information on the longevity of sealers, or simply want more information on the types of sealers, we’re here to answer those commonly asked questions.
Concrete sealers are applied to surfaces for protective purposes. The chemical makeups of sealers provide certain utility and qualities for different concrete surfaces.
Concrete sealers are designed to protect surfaces from internal and external damage. Whether the sealer protects internally or externally is dependent on the type you choose.
A concrete sealer is generally sprayed or rolled onto the surface, but the application is dependent on the type of sealer you choose.
The best type of sealer for porous surfaces (poured concrete, paver stones, brick) is a penetrating siloxane sealer. The best sealer for nonporous surfaces (stamped concrete) is a glossy acrylic/topcoat sealer.
AquaMaxx Pro uses a siloxane sealer.
Siloxane sealer is a penetrating sealer designed to enter the pores of the concrete and strengthen it from within. Our sealer helps protect from cracking, chipping, spalling, and pitting caused by the freeze-thaw cycle that concrete in Utah is susceptible to.
Sealer is used on all types of concrete, but it is not recommended to attempt to seal asphalt. The type of sealer you use all depends on what type of concrete you are looking to have sealed.
There is no bad time of year to have your concrete sealed. Our siloxane sealer generally has a life of about two years, so it is made to get through a couple of cycles of the four seasons.
It varies, as there are so many different types of sealers. It often takes longer with more square footage involved.
With our siloxane sealer, we recommend waiting until the driveway appears to be dry. It begins penetrating the pores of the concrete immediately, so it is often fully sealed within a couple of hours. We always recommend exercising caution based on your preference. With an acrylic sealer, you generally need to wait up to 48 hours before safely driving on it.
Our sealer is not visible as it penetrates the pores of the concrete and protects from within. A glossy acrylic sealer darkens the concrete and has visible differences than unsealed concrete. While a glossy topcoat sealer darkens and gives a new shine to concrete, it can trap stains if not washed beforehand.
AquaMaxx Pro’s siloxane sealer lasts about two years, and that is based on the beating a concrete surface in our region takes on a yearly basis. An acrylic sealer generally lasts around three years, but it tends to wear pretty unevenly over time.
At AquaMaxx Pro, our goal is to consistently strive to set the industry standard with our processes and equipment. Having said that, we are constantly looking to improve and grow. When it comes to protecting your porous concrete surfaces, AquaMaxx Pro has you covered!

How should you approach washing your house? The answer is more complex than you might think. Soft washing and pressure washing are the two primary methods for cleaning surfaces on your property, but they are very different in scope. While they are both placed in the “power washing” category, it’s important to know when to use each method.
For example, if you are using high pressure to remove general surface contaminants, you may run the risk of structurally compromising that surface. Conversely, a soft wash may not thoroughly clean the surface if the proper detergents are not utilized.
There is a clear separation between a pressure wash and a soft wash, and the scenarios for which each lends themselves can greatly differ. Our goal is to make sure you understand your options and which process caters to the surface that is being cleaned.
Pressure washing is done using water under pressure (or PSI) that is designed to clean stronger surfaces with more heavily embedded or ingrained contaminants. It is generally the best method to remove loose paint or stain in preparation for another application of paint or stain. A major drawback of using high pressure to wash siding on a home or deck is that you can easily damage these surfaces if performed incorrectly.
High pressure is good for preparing aluminum siding for paint but is not the suggested method to use without the intention of painting afterward. In this case, you run the risk of removing the finish of the siding. Concrete over three years old can also benefit from a higher pressure wash, but you should always exercise caution. Lastly, high pressure is not recommended for cleaning your roof since you can cause damage to your shingles and run the risk of nullifying its warranty.
In short, higher pressure is best for:
For the safest and most effective removal of surface contaminants such as mold, algae, mildew, and dirt, the best method to use is a soft wash. Soft washing uses a safe pressure and relies primarily on the specialized cleansers used in the process. Soft washing delivers the cleansers and water generally at a higher volume but lower pressure.
Concrete less than three years old requires a soft wash, and this is primarily to make sure the structural integrity of the surface isn’t compromised. On roofs, the best method of protecting the surface requires a wash that is even softer than a basic soft wash. It uses a less diluted form of cleansers than a standard soft wash. In general, when you are considering a standard cleaning of your house, deck, roof, or newer concrete, soft washing is the recommended method.

Homes take a year-round beating from ultraviolet rays, dust, dirt, algae, mold, insects, and a host of other harmful contaminants. This causes buildup on siding, embedded stains in driveways, and black streaks to form on roofs. So, how do we prevent this from happening? Regular maintenance is the answer.
Every home benefits from regular, consistent pressure washing. In fact, the benefits run deeper than what you see on the surface. Here are a few of the key benefits to pressure washing your home:
Read below to learn more about these benefits and discover how pressure washing can help you and your home.
Pressure washing removes harmful contaminants that can damage your home’s siding if left untreated. Over time, algae, mold, and mildew growth can migrate under the siding and lead to expensive replacements and significant health concerns. Pressure washing your home on a regular maintenance schedule will prevent buildup and lead to a healthier, cleaner home.
Untreated contaminants damage your home over time. The cost of replacing your siding, shingles, or concrete is significantly higher than having these areas regularly cleaned. Pressure washing helps you avoid prematurely replacing parts of your home, thus saving you money in the long run.
Have you ever painted over a dirty wall? Paint adheres best to clean surfaces and will crack or chip if it is rolled over dirt and grime. If you are painting the exterior of your home, the first step is to ensure that you have the exterior surface cleaned so the paint will go on smoothly and last much longer.
Airborne contaminants that end up on your home can be harmful. For example, mold spores can lead to asthma-like symptoms when inhaled. pressure washing gets rid of mold, algae, and other contaminants, never giving them a chance to grow.
Pressure washing is more thorough and effective than other ways of washing your home, such as hand-scrubbing. Also, washing your home with a power washer takes significantly less time than scrubbing it by hand.
Note: Compared to buying equipment and doing it yourself, hiring a professional service to pressure wash your home will dramatically reduce the time it takes to complete the job.
Many homeowners talk about their pride in ownership returning after their home is pressure washed. It simply feels good to pull into your driveway and see a clean, well-kept home. Who doesn’t love having the best looking home on the block?
Not only does pressure washing increase your home’s curb appeal, but it does so in a quantifiable way. The National Association of Realtors suggests that a pressure washed home can add up to $15,000 to the sale price. You simply cannot afford to not pressure wash your home.
While not all pressure washing methods are the same, our process at AquaMaxx Pro is 100% safe for the environment. Our cleansers are tough enough to cut through dirt and grime, but also completely biodegradable and safe for all pets, plants, and wildlife around your home.
At AquaMaxx Pro, we want homeowners to know and experience all the benefits of pressure washing. While some are visible, like restoring the look of your siding, others are felt over time, like an increase in property value. We hope this will help you make informed decisions going forward and understand the value of regularly pressure washing your home.
While some home improvement projects lend themselves to the do-it-yourself community, others should be left to professionals. When it comes to power washing, if you have simply done a few minutes of research, you know both DIY and hiring a professional service are options. There is a lot to consider, from cost to the quality of the job, and both options present a list of pros and cons. In this post, we highlight those pros and cons to make sure you have all the information you need before power washing your home.
On a per-day basis, renting a pressure washer is not too expensive. For smaller projects, you can adequately wash surfaces and keep it cost-effective. Another benefit of choosing the DIY route for pressure washing, if you decide to do so, is that you have full control over the operation and outcome of the project. You can easily find a standard residential pressure washer at a local home improvement store for rental.
While doable, pressure washing your home can be time-consuming and potentially dangerous. For example, there are countless hard-to-reach areas on a typical home that are difficult to clean with a standard pressure washer. In this situation, your first instinct will likely be to grab a ladder. While logical, there is a high risk of injury since there is a great amount of pressure coming from the wand. Additionally, the high pressure can easily damage the structure of your vinyl siding.
Another common perception is that, in general, it is cheaper to power wash on your own. While that may be true for small and concentrated areas, there are several overlooked factors:
While opportunity cost may not be top of mind, it is critical to know that washing a house without professional-grade equipment can take days to complete. Even then, the results may not be what you expected. Simply put, the best and safest way to pressure wash a home is to use a soft wash method in combination with professional cleansers. DIY pressure washing makes it nearly impossible to accomplish that.
Hiring one of the professional pressure washing services in your area will yield the best results for your home. Reputable pressure washing companies have the experience and processes to assure that your property gets washed safely and efficiently.
As previously mentioned, a standard residential pressure washer will not have the capability to reach high areas or effectively clean stubborn areas of a home. Conversely, a professional pressure washing company will have the equipment and technology to clean your entire home thoroughly. On top of that, here a few other advantages of hiring an experienced professional company:
When hiring a company or contractor to wash your home, it is understandable to look for the lowest price. Just like in any industry, price is often directly correlated to quality. We encourage you not to focus solely on price, but instead spend time researching a company’s credibility and reviews. This will prevent a situation where someone shows up with just a pickup truck and the same pressure washer you could have rented. Additionally, a contractor like this may become elusive once the job is paid for, which can be especially problematic if there were any issues with the job. Unfortunately, fly-by-night companies do exist.
AquaMaxx Pro is constantly striving to set the standard for professional pressure washing services. We take pride in all aspects of our customer-first process, which ensures every home is efficiently and effectively cleaned. Here is the typical process:

Cracked concrete is not only displeasing to look at, but it can become dangerous to walk and drive on as the cracking increases over time. There are several primary causes for cracking in concrete, and most of them are avoidable to an extent. As concrete surfaces age, they tend to become structurally compromised, and these compromises tend to happen faster with no maintenance.
One of the main reasons why cracks occur in concrete begins with exposure to water. When water penetrates the pores of the concrete during freezing conditions, the ice expands the concrete, which can lead to cracking. Sealing concrete surfaces is one of the best ways to protect them. By the time you finish reading this, you should have the road map for both addressing worn concrete and protecting your new concrete.
After pouring new concrete on your property, one of your primary focuses should be to maintain the surface and get the longest possible life out of it. Washing the concrete regularly helps keep contaminants that could damage the exterior of the concrete at bay. Newer concrete should be treated very delicately and washed with a very low pressure and specialized detergents that remove surface dirt, mildew, and mold.
Though the curing agent on newer concrete will naturally fade over time, washing the surface can expedite that process. After having your concrete washed, you should consider having a protective sealer applied to the surface. In terms of strengthening and protecting the concrete from the inside, a siloxane sealer is an excellent option. While siloxane does not change the way the concrete looks, it penetrates the pores of the concrete, strengthens it from within, and helps protect from freeze-thaw conditions.
Once concrete is cracked, there are several steps you can take to remedy the situation. If you wanted to go the more cost-effective route, you can run to a home improvement store and purchase some supplies to fill in the area and mask it. Though this solution doesn’t require placing new concrete in those cracks, it provides a cosmetic improvement that will suffice for the short term. In some scenarios, which are out of one’s control, the ground underneath the concrete can shift at the control joint. This creates a situation where you need to have your concrete surface leveled. The average cost to have concrete leveled is around $800.
When it comes to protecting your property, especially your concrete, the professionals at AquaMaxx Pro have you covered. We have spent years beautifying and protecting properties just like yours using the safest and most cutting-edge processes and technologies. For a free estimate, call our team today!
Whether you are putting your home on the market or you are simply looking to improve its exterior, there is a long list of reasons why you should power wash your home. In this post, we dive into some of the top reasons. Should pressure washing be your next home improvement project? Find out below.
Let’s face it. You have worked hard to own your home. It makes sense to be prideful. To keep it in the best shape possible, you will want to remove common contaminants such as:
• Insects near the soffits.
• Black streaking on the gutters.
• Green algae on the north side.
• General dirt and grime buildup on the other sides.
You owe it to yourself to see your home shine every time you pull in your driveway. Pressure washing will help make this a reality.
What goes great with beautiful landscaping? Pressure washing. What makes your patio shine after a long winter? Pressure washing. It’s truly the do-it-all solution to increasing your home’s curb appeal.
A clean home is not only a great reflection on you the homeowner but your community as a whole. Often when one property is cleaned in a community, nearby neighbors follow suit. This creates somewhat of a chain reaction as the number of clean homes continues to grow. And who doesn’t love a beautiful, well-maintained neighborhood?
Contaminants on your home can become permanently embedded if left untreated for too long. If given enough time, algae, mold, and mildew can get underneath the siding and damage the underlying wood. By pressure washing your home on a regular maintenance schedule, you are protecting yourself from costly repairs and replacements in the future.
Buying a home is a big investment and one that should be protected. Your home decreases in value the less it is maintained. In fact, the National Association of Realtors suggest that a pressure washed home can add up to $15,000 to the sale price. Pressure washing your home is important because it helps maintain the value of your property.
Opposed to hand scrubbing, pressure washing is a more effective and thorough way to clean your home. Even a low-pressure setting will get the stains up more effectively than scrubbing. When performed by the right company, pressure washing your home will help bring your siding back to life and make it look like new again.
Simply put, you should pressure wash your home because it is an excellent way to thoroughly clean and beautify your investment.
We strive to be in constant communication with our customers until the job is done. Please contact us to handle your pressure washing and garbage can cleaning needs or with any questions on our services. We look forward to serving you!
